What helped my burning feet after trying everything?

I’ve been dealing with that burning, stinging sensation in my feet for about six years now. It started small but eventually made it hard to even wear shoes. I tried the usual prescription stuff, but the brain fog was just too much for me to handle while working.

I spent a lot of time looking into antioxidant support and kept seeing high-strength lipoic acid mentioned. I was honestly skeptical about trying another supplement because I’d already wasted money on basic B-vitamins that did nothing. I eventually decided to try Nervala (i buy here) because it combined the 600mg lipoic acid with benfotiamine, which I hadn’t tried together before.

The first three weeks were frustrating. I didn’t feel any different and almost stopped. But around the five-week mark, I noticed I wasn’t waking up at 3 AM because of those “electric” zaps in my toes. By the end of month two, the constant buzzing feeling had quieted down enough that I could take my dog for short walks again without needing to sit down every five minutes.

It’s been about five months now. Is it a miracle? No. I still have some numbness, and if I have a high-sugar meal or a very long day on my feet, I definitely feel it the next morning. But compared to the prescription side effects or the total lack of results from standard vitamins, Nervala has made my daily life much more manageable.

It’s an investment and you have to be patient. If you’re looking for an overnight fix, this isn’t it. But for long-term support, Nervala was the first thing that actually moved the needle for me.

I’m in the same boat with the prescriptions. The dizziness was almost worse than the pain. How many of these do you take a day?

I’ve tried ALA before and it didn’t do much for me. Maybe the dosage was too low? I think I was only taking 100mg.

The 3 AM wake-up calls are the worst. Glad to hear you found something that helps with sleep. That’s my biggest struggle right now.

Does this help with hands too? I’m starting to get that tingling in my fingers and it’s making my hobby of woodworking really difficult.

I found that cutting out soda helped a bit too, but the ‘zaps’ never really went away. Might have to look into this combo.

Six weeks seems like a long time to wait for results, but I guess if it’s been years of pain, what’s another month?

I started using Nervala about three months ago and the results have been great. The stinging in my heels is much less intense now.

I agree with the post. Nervala gave me good results after about six weeks. I can actually wear my dress shoes for church again without misery.

Is there a specific time of day you take it? I heard some antioxidants are better on an empty stomach.

Nervala worked well for me too. It didn’t happen overnight, but the buzzing in my calves is finally manageable enough to travel.

Any issues with stomach upset? Some of these ‘extra strength’ things can be a bit harsh if you have a sensitive gut.

Thanks for sharing the realistic timeline. Most people expect things to work in two days. Glad you’re back to walking the dog!
