Updating my daily routine at sixty

I wanted to share a quick update on how I’ve been feeling lately. For a long time, I fell into the trap that many of us do after hitting 50: I tried to fix my flagging energy with more coffee and harder gym sessions. I thought if I just pushed through the fatigue, my body would eventually catch up. The reality was that I was just burning myself out and putting unnecessary stress on my heart and blood vessels.

One of the biggest mistakes I made was neglecting the actual chemistry of aging. We can’t just out-work a system that’s running low on the essentials. I shifted my focus away from stimulants and toward supporting my circulation and vascular health more naturally. Instead of that third cup of coffee, I started focusing on nitrate-rich foods and specific amino acids that help with blood flow.

A key part of my turnaround was adding NitricBoost (i buy here) to my morning regimen. It’s a concentrate of nitrates and amino acids that help maintain steady nitric oxide levels. Since making that change, I’ve noticed a significant difference in my stamina and mental clarity. My blood vessels feel healthier, and I don’t get that mid-afternoon crash anymore. Even my drive has seen a nice uptick, which was a welcome surprise.

The takeaway for me has been to stop fighting my body and start feeding it what it actually needs to function. If you’re feeling stuck or perpetually tired, look at your circulation rather than just reaching for more caffeine. It’s a much more sustainable way to stay active and sharp as we get older. I’m curious if anyone else has moved away from the ‘push harder’ mentality toward a more supportive approach?

Great post. I’m 58 and definitely felt that ‘push through it’ mentality for years. It’s hard to break that habit when it’s what we’ve done our whole lives.

The caffeine trap is real. I used to drink a pot a day just to get through the office. Now I’m trying to cut back and focus on actual sleep quality.

I switched to more walking and light resistance training. My joints thank me every day. The high intensity stuff just isn’t worth the recovery time anymore.

What exactly are the nitrates doing for you? Is it just for energy or is it more for the heart health side of things?

I actually started using NitricBoost about three months ago too. I’ve noticed my recovery times after golf are way better now and I don’t feel as winded on the back nine.

I’ll second the NitricBoost mention. My doctor was actually happy with my blood pressure readings at my last checkup after I started it. It definitely feels like it keeps things flowing better.

Good tips, but make sure you’re still getting your annual physicals. Supplements are great but can’t replace the basics of a checkup.

Are you still doing the heavy lifting or just focusing on the supplement side of things? I’m trying to find a balance.

NitricBoost really helped with my morning brain fog. I feel much more alert during my morning meetings than I used to, without needing three espressos.

It’s all about that vascular health. If the blood isn’t moving, nothing else works right. Good on you for figuring it out.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s encouraging to see others making these adjustments successfully. I think I need to rethink my own afternoon routine.
