I’ve spent the last five years dealing with that deep, dull ache in my knuckles and fingers. I tried the usual stuff: OTC anti-inflammatories, compression gloves, and even those expensive copper-infused sleeves. Nothing really stuck. I just figured it was the price of getting older and working with my hands.
About four months ago, I started looking into the biology of joint health. I learned that as we age, we lose hyaluronan, which is basically the jelly-like lubricant that keeps our joints from grinding. I decided to try a supplement called JointGenesis (ordered here) because it specifically targets that loss of lubrication rather than just masking the pain.
My progress wasn’t overnight. Here is how it went:
Month 1: Honestly, I didn’t feel much. I was actually a bit frustrated and almost stopped taking it. My morning stiffness was still there.
Month 2: I noticed the “grittiness” in my finger joints started to soften. I could grip my woodworking chisels for about 45 minutes before needing a break, which was an improvement over the 10 minutes I was managing before.
Month 3: This was the real turning point. I realized I wasn’t reaching for the ibuprofen every morning. JointGenesis seemed to be helping with that “dry” feeling inside the joints. I could finally peel potatoes and chop vegetables for Sunday dinner without my hands locking up.
I want to be honest about the caveats. This isn’t a miracle cure. I still have occasional flare-ups if the weather gets really damp or if I overdo it in the shop. It’s also more expensive than the generic vitamins you find at the grocery store, and you have to stay consistent. If I miss a few days, I definitely feel the stiffness returning. For me, JointGenesis has been a vital part of staying active, but it works best alongside a good diet and light stretching.

I’ve been on JointGenesis for about three months now and my knees haven’t felt this fluid in years. It really does take time to kick in though.

JointGenesis really helped with my morning hip stiffness. Glad to see it’s working for your hands too, woodworking is such a great hobby to keep.

How many capsules do you take a day? I’m currently on a different regimen but thinking of switching because the results have plateaued.

I tried something similar a few years ago but it upset my stomach if I didn’t eat a full meal with it. Have you noticed any digestive issues?
The point about consistency is huge. I always forget my supplements on the weekend and I can always feel the difference by Monday morning.

Is it really better than just taking high-quality fish oil? I’ve heard mixed things about hyaluronan supplements versus just eating better fats.

Did you change your diet at all during this time? I’m trying to figure out if I need to go full anti-inflammatory diet or if the supplement is enough.

My doctor actually mentioned the hyaluronan thing during my last physical. Started JointGenesis last month and the results are promising so far, especially in my ankles.
Thanks for sharing your progress. It’s helpful to see a realistic timeline instead of those ads that claim you’ll be running marathons in three days.

I’m 62 and had to stop knitting because of the flare-ups in my thumbs. This gives me some hope that I might be able to pick it back up again.

I tried it for two weeks and didn’t feel anything, so I stopped. Maybe I should have stuck with it longer based on your Month 2 description.

Keep up the woodworking! It’s so important to keep those motor skills sharp as we get older. Glad you found something that helps.

The price is definitely a bit high, but if it keeps me out of the doctor’s office for shots or physical therapy, I guess it pays for itself.
