My results after six months of changing my routine

I hit 45 last year and suddenly my mouth felt like a desert every morning.

My dentist kept mentioning that my gums were looking a bit inflamed, which was frustrating because I’ve always been a twice-a-day flosser. I tried the heavy-duty alcohol mouthwashes, but they just made the dryness worse and seemed to kill off all the good bacteria too. Then I moved on to those charcoal pastes, which were messy and did nothing for my gum sensitivity. I even tried those expensive prescription gels that left a weird metallic taste for hours.

About six months ago, I decided to focus on the oral microbiome instead of just killing germs. I started using ProvaDent (i order here, best price i found) as part of a more holistic approach. It’s got these probiotics and purple carrot extract which sounded a bit gimmicky at first, but the science behind the BioFresh complex actually made sense for balancing things out. My routine is pretty simple now: I brush with a soft-bristle electric brush, floss once at night, and take this supplement daily.

The first few weeks were subtle, but by the second month, the morning dryness was basically gone. I tracked my progress by checking for bleeding while flossing, and by month three, that had completely stopped. My teeth feel smoother throughout the day too, probably because of the xylitol. It’s a lot more convenient than the ten-step routines I was trying before, and I haven’t had any of the sensitivity issues I got from whitening products.

If you’re struggling with similar issues, I’d suggest a minimal routine: get a good electric brush, don’t skip the floss, and consider a probiotic-based support like this. It’s not an overnight fix, but for long-term maintenance, it’s been a game changer for my checkups. Just make sure you’re consistent with it, as it takes time for the oral biome to actually shift.

How did you decide on this approach versus the standard antiseptic rinses? I’ve been looking at a few different oral health supplements and I’m not sure which way to go.

I’m in the same boat with the dry mouth. It gets worse as I get older, especially with the medication I’m on. Glad to hear something worked for you.

Did your dentist actually notice a difference at your last cleaning? Usually they can tell if you’ve changed something up.

Oil pulling helped me a bit with the dryness but it’s so time consuming. A supplement sounds much easier if it actually stays effective.

To be honest, I chose ProvaDent because it didn’t have those harsh chemicals that the rinses have. The antiseptic stuff felt like it was stripping everything away, whereas this felt like it was actually building my gum health back up naturally.

I’ve been on ProvaDent for about three months now and my hygienist was actually impressed. My pockets went from 4s to 2s and 3s during the last measurement.

The purple carrot and probiotics in ProvaDent really helped with my breath issues. It’s the only thing that’s made a dent in that ‘old man breath’ I was starting to get every afternoon.
