I’ve spent the last five years feeling like I was walking through a thick haze by 2 PM every day. As someone who used to pride myself on being sharp and organized, hitting my late fifties felt like hitting a wall. I tried the usual stuff—gallons of green tea and various generic supplements from the grocery store. Most just gave me jitters or did nothing at all.
I started a routine with NeuroSerge (usually discouted here) about four months ago on the recommendation of a neighbor who’s also in my bridge club. The first few weeks were honestly underwhelming. I didn’t feel a “surge” of anything, and I actually almost quit because I forgot to take it a few days in a row. It takes a bit of discipline to keep the once-a-day habit going when you don’t see immediate fireworks.
However, by the end of the second month, I noticed I wasn’t reaching for a third cup of coffee in the afternoon. I felt more balanced. I could actually sit down and finish a complex crossword puzzle without getting frustrated and walking away. The biggest change was the consistency. With NeuroSerge, I don’t have those sharp crashes anymore. It feels like a very natural, steady kind of mental energy that lasts until I’m ready for bed.
Now, it’s not perfect. It hasn’t turned me into a 20-year-old again, and I still have days where I lose my keys if I’m not paying attention. It’s also a bit pricier than the cheap stuff I was buying before. But for me, the trade-off of feeling clear-headed throughout the evening has been worth it. If you’re looking for a quick fix, this probably isn’t it, but for a long-term shift, it’s been the only thing that actually stuck.

Glad to hear you found something that works. I’m 62 and the afternoon slump is real. Did you change your diet at all or just add the supplement?

I’m always skeptical of these things. Are you sure it isn’t just a placebo effect because you’re paying more for it?

I’ve tried ginkgo and it did absolutely nothing for me. Might be worth looking into this one.

The key for me was setting a phone alarm for 9 AM. Otherwise, I’d never remember to take anything consistently.

I can second this! I’ve been using NeuroSerge for three months now and my mental clarity during my morning bookkeeping is night and day compared to last year.

NeuroSerge was a game changer for my husband. He was getting so frustrated with his ‘senior moments’ but he seems much more ‘with it’ lately.
What are the main ingredients? I try to stay away from anything too synthetic.
I feel you on the crossword puzzles. I used to be able to do the Sunday Times one in one sitting, now I struggle with the Tuesday edition. It’s discouraging.
Nice post. It’s good to see an honest review that doesn’t claim it’s a miracle cure.
Does it cause any stomach upset? I have a pretty sensitive system when it comes to vitamins.

For me, NeuroSerge really helped with that ‘tip of the tongue’ feeling where you can’t remember a name. It took about six weeks to really kick in though.
I’ve been looking at a few different brands. This one seems to have better reviews for long-term use rather than just a caffeine-style kick.

Don’t forget that sleep is huge too! No supplement can fix a 4-hour night of sleep.

RetiredAndReading, did you notice if it helped with your physical energy too, or just the mental side?

Thanks for the detailed timeline. Most people expect results in three days, so it’s good to know it takes a few months.

I’ve tried a dozen things for brain fog and NeuroSerge is the only one that didn’t make me feel weird or anxious. Just felt like a better version of myself.
