I can finally sleep through the night without hip pain

I’ve spent the last three years dealing with a constant, burning ache in my right hip and lower back.

It got so bad that I couldn’t even walk my Golden Retriever around the block without needing to sit down halfway. I tried everything to get some relief. Standard ibuprofen helped slightly but it really messed with my stomach after a few weeks. I used those grocery store heating patches, but they only provided a temporary distraction from the pain rather than actually fixing anything. I even went to physical therapy for six months, which helped my range of motion, but that deep nerve pressure just wouldn’t quit.

About a month ago, I decided to try a topical balm called Balmorex (usually discouted here) after reading about the chemistry behind it. It uses a blend of MSM and Frankincense to target the inflammation pressing on the nerves. Unlike the greasy stuff I used before, this absorbed almost instantly and didn’t leave me smelling like a medicine cabinet. Within about ten days of applying it twice a day, the sciatica-like symptoms started to fade. I’m finally back to my morning walks and sleeping through the night. It isn’t a magic cure—you have to stay consistent with it—but for me, it provided that deep tissue relief I couldn’t find elsewhere. If you are dealing with chronic stiffness, it might be worth a look for your recovery routine.

Getting a full night of sleep is such a game changer. When the pain wakes you up at 3 AM, the whole next day is just ruined. Glad you found something that works.

I’ve been looking for something new for my lower back. How does this compare to those prescription lidocaine patches? I find the patches always peel off when I move around too much.

I actually started using Balmorex for my tennis elbow last month. It took a few days to really kick in, but the swelling has gone down significantly. It’s much better than the menthol sprays.

Is there a strong smell? My wife hates the scent of most of these rubs, so I usually end up not using them.

I tried those patches too, SilverFox55. They were a hassle and felt like they only numbed the surface. Balmorex seems to get deeper into the muscle for me. And to answer the scent question, it’s very mild, not that medicinal ‘old person’ smell at all.

It’s interesting that it has frankincense in it. I’ve heard that can be great for inflammation but I’ve never tried it in a balm form. Might have to check the ingredients list.

My physical therapist actually mentioned Balmorex to me for my stiff knees. I’ve been using it before my morning stretches and it definitely makes the first hour of the day a lot easier to manage.
