Feeling much more present and capable after a lifestyle reset

Hi everyone. I’m about four months into a concerted effort to clear the persistent brain fog that started hitting me shortly after I turned sixty. I wanted to share my progress using a simple breakdown of what is actually moving the needle for me lately.

First, the daily habits. I started prioritizing a consistent sleep schedule and a twenty-minute morning walk. Getting that natural light early in the day seems to set my circadian rhythm much better than it used to. I have also cut way back on late-night snacking, which I noticed was making me feel groggy the next morning.

Second, the nutrition and supplementation side. I have been focusing on more leafy greens and healthy fats, but I also decided to try a more structured approach to my vitamins. I started using the Clarity Advanced Stack (i buy here) about ten weeks ago. It combines a high-quality fish oil with a B-vitamin and Bacopa blend. I have noticed I am much less distracted when reading or working on my taxes, and that frustrating tip-of-the-tongue forgetfulness has definitely decreased.

Finally, the tracking. I keep a simple paper journal where I rate my mental energy from one to ten every evening. Looking back at the data, my average has gone from a four to an eight since I started this routine. It is not an overnight fix, but the consistency is finally paying off. If you are feeling a bit sluggish, I highly recommend looking at your morning light and your omega intake. It really does make a difference at our age.

Great update! I’ve been trying to get more morning sun too. It’s harder in the winter months but I definitely feel the difference in my mood when I manage to get outside before 9 AM.

What kind of journal do you use? Just a regular notebook or a specific tracker? I find apps on the phone way too distracting when I’m trying to wind down.

I actually started the Clarity Advanced Stack last month after my sister recommended it to me. The focus improvement is real—I don’t feel that mid-afternoon slump nearly as much now and I’m staying on task much better.

The diet changes are huge. I noticed that when I stopped eating processed flour, my head felt clearer within a week. Bacopa is also a great addition for memory, I’ve read a lot of good studies on it.

Consistency is definitely the hardest part for me. I can do it for three days and then I fall off the wagon. Seeing your 1-10 rating idea might help me stay on track because I like seeing the visual progress.
