I’ve been dealing with that annoying buzzing and stinging in my feet for nearly six years now. It started small but eventually got to where I couldn’t even have a bedsheet touching my toes at night without jumping. I honestly thought I’d just have to live with the discomfort forever.
What I tried before
I started with the usual stuff: lidocaine creams, compression socks, and those generic B-complex vitamins you find at any pharmacy. I even tried a standard Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement from a big-box store, but it didn’t seem to do much except give me a bit of heartburn. Most of those just masked the feeling for an hour or so.
What I changed
About three months ago, I decided to try a higher-potency approach with Nervala (usually discouted here) after reading about the combination of extra strength lipoic acid and benfotiamine. I was skeptical, but the research on that specific form of B1 seemed more promising than what I was taking before. I liked that it was designed specifically for nerve system support.
Week-by-week progress
- Weeks 1-2: Honestly, I felt absolutely nothing. I almost stopped taking it, thinking it was another waste of money.
- Week 4: I noticed I wasn’t reaching for the topical cooling gel quite as often before bed. The sharp sensations were less frequent.
- Month 2: The “electric shocks” started to feel more like dull thuds. Still there, but much more manageable.
- Month 3: I’m now walking the dog for 20 minutes without needing a break immediately after.
What improved
The biggest win is my sleep. I’m not waking up at 3 AM because my feet feel like they’re on fire. Using Nervala has definitely helped settle things down to a dull roar. I feel more stable on my feet during the day too.
What didn’t
It’s not a miracle. If I spend all day on my feet at the hardware store, they still ache. Also, Nervala is a bit pricier than the cheap stuff, and you have to be consistent. If I skip a few days, I definitely feel the difference. It takes patience, so don’t expect overnight results.
