**I have been dealing with peripheral neuropathy for about six years now, mostly in my feet and lower ankles.**

Honestly, I had reached a point where I just accepted that walking more than a block was going to be miserable. I tried the prescription route first, but the side effects were too much for me to handle daily. Then I spent a fortune on those copper-infused socks and heavy-duty gel inserts, which were fine for a day but didn’t actually address the underlying sensitivity.

I’ll be the first to admit I was incredibly skeptical about trying **Akusoli ([i get it here, discounted!](https://www.gu-ecom.com/XRJB3P5/2ZD5R36/?uid=2793&sub2=forum))** when my daughter mentioned it. I’ve seen enough magnetic therapy ads to last a lifetime, and I figured it was just another gimmick for people like me who are desperate for relief. I expected them to be uncomfortable or just feel like regular lumpy insoles.

However, the design is actually quite clever. They use specific pressure points combined with magnets, and the cushioning is much firmer than the cheap foam ones I used before. The first day was a bit odd—you can definitely feel the texture—but by the third day, I realized I wasn’t rushing to sit down every ten minutes. It’s been about a month now, and I’m back to doing my own grocery shopping without needing a motorized cart.

What I like most is that they don’t lose their shape. Most inserts **flatten out** within two weeks, but these have held up. It’s not a cure, and I still have bad days if I overdo it, but the **consistent support** has made a massive difference in my mobility. If you’re like me and have a drawer full of failed solutions, these might be worth a look, though I’d say give yourself a few days to **get used to the sensation** of the nodes. Just keep your expectations realistic and keep moving as much as you can.

I have been using Akusoli for two months now and my balance feels much more stable than it used to. It didn’t happen overnight but the progress is definitely there.

Glad you found something that works. I am still on the B12 injections and they help a bit, but the physical discomfort when standing is still my biggest hurdle.

How do these compare to the custom orthotics from a podiatrist? I spent over four hundred dollars on a pair last year and they are hard as rocks. I can barely stand them for an hour.
